@t.r.cairns have fruit that sees one our vendors - the large, British one - eat a minimum of a bag a week. No, really, it’s that good. But don’t take our word for it, co e by the weekend and check out for yourself.

Kids! If you can help us find these eggs, you can win a prize! Have a look around all the booths today and write down how many you can spot on a scorecard that you can get at the information booth. Remember to look very carefully, they might be hidden in sneaky places!

8am until 1pm tomorrow! Includes an egg hunt with a difference for the kids!

A reminder that tomorrow we need you kids to help us find eggs around the market. Drop by the information booth and pick up a scorecard, then go hunting! Count the colored eggs from each booth and when you return your card, you win a prize! Happy Easter!

Strangers are just friends you haven’t met yet. If you stop by on Sunday, why not meet up with our ever-growing family and say hello? If you’ve never been before, you may just discover something new that you like.

On Sunday, we need all the kids at the market to help us find our lost Easter eggs. We are fairly certain they are scattered around the vendor booths. So come to the information booth, grab yourselves a scorecard and write down how many colors you found. Bring your scorecard back and pick a free prize! See you on Sunday!

Have you guys tried the sprouts and various greens (as one of our staff likes to call them) from @sarahs.socal.garden ? Delicious in smoothies and sandwiches, packed in nutrition and a great way to give your body a boost of goodness. Be sure to try them if you haven’t before, and Sarah can steer you in the right direction of what each sprout does for you.

The first market of 2021 will feature the food truck from SomethingGoodla, plus a host of amazing vendors. Be sure to drop by and make yourself at home!

Clean & Safe Halloween for the KIDS. Visit the market information booth and all kids will receive a TREAT filled Halloween bag. The Marketplace wants to celebrate the kids, and make sure the they have a safe Halloween. So put on your costumes and be sure to pick up your TREAT filled bag at the Information booth. See you this Sunday. Due to current Health dept restrictions, the Marketplace is not allowed to do our yearly BIG Halloween celebration, and allow vendor to vendor trick n treating.

The legacy continues. West Coast Seafood will returned to the Marketplace this Sunday (10/4). To the customers who followed and purchased Pete Siracusa's finest seafood, his daughters, nephews & nieces will keep West Coast Seafood going, with the same high quality seafood. This is how Pete would want it, to make sure his customers would continue to support West Coast Seafood and all the small business vendors at the Farmers Market. We hope to see all our customers back supporting West Coast Seafood and the Marketplace.

Last Sunday many customers, vendors and friends came out to the marketplace (Spring & Clark) in rememberance for Pete Siracusa. This Sunday a rememberance table will be setup this Sunday 9/27. West Coast Seafood will be returning to the marketplace, within a week or 2.

Its with great sadness and heartbreak to share the sudden passing of Pete Siracusa early this morning. Pete was the one & only, "fish monger" in so cal, serving his hand filet seafood with a big dose of Italian personality, as owner of J.P. West Coast Seafood, since 1979 and co-owner of the Farmers Marketplace of Long Beach. Pete will be dearly missed by all. ... There will be remembrance memorial in Pete's "vendor space" this Sunday 9/20. Pete would want his legacy to continue, with his seafood and pleasing his customers. We'll know in a couple of weeks of the return of J&P West-Coast Seafood. We all know Pete took care of both his elderly parents, if you wish to help the family (Petes parents) with their current care, there will be envelopes available at the information booth. Rest in Paradise our sweet friend.

We'll be open from 8am to 2pm on Sunday 5/24 Farm fresh Land to Stand produce, great variety of fresh, veggies, berries, peaches, plums, oranges, apricots. BBQ some cage free, organic fresh chicken, seas to table fresh seafood (including clams, lobster, smoked fish). All our vendors wear masks, 6 foot distancing, wash stations, gloves and sanitizers provided. In need of a mask, you can purchase handmade masks (4 sizes from child to XXL). Adult and XXL masks come with additional filter and nose wire, purchase at information booth.
