Hey Friends, We were up at camp over the last week tying up some loose ends and closing things down for the summer, what a strange feeling it was to not be welcoming our first bunch of campers. We are so proud of our Bay Area community for the way they have shown up to protest and meet systemic racism head on. We support our staff and families who are taking a supportive stance in the Black Lives Matter movement and are encouraged to look internally at ways that we can be a bigger part of necessary change. Our friends at Camp Brave Trails have invited other camps to match their $100 donation to Colin Kaepernick’s Know Your Rights Camp, and we invite you to join us! It brings us much sadness to announce the cancellation of sessions 1M, 1, 1A, and 1B with sessions 2, 2A, 2B, and 2M likely to follow soon... We want nothing more than to sing with you at the top of our lungs, wash our dishes in buckets, milk the cows, and let the goat kids jump on our backs. A summer filled with friends, sunshine, grass stains, greased watermelons, and epic barn dances sound like just the ticket. We are going to miss you, big time! We are so sorry we don’t g...et to meet our new campers or see those old familiar faces and how you have grown over the last year. Nothing sounds better than spending time in the sunshine with a field full of friends. The freedom of open space, fresh air, fuzzy animals, and an endless supply of crafts. We all could use a little camp in our lives right now. Though we can’t give hugs, exchange friendship bracelets, or yell Don’t stop believing as 150 strong, we wanted to share some camp crafts that you can do at home.
