Is your child's eyesight getting worse? It could be due to o line learning, experts say. Despite the lack of evidence that increased screentime leads to increased myopia, some studies are linking inline learning to rapidly worsening myopia. We have see in our office an uptick in the number of kids developing nearsightedness at an earlier age. We agree that it may not be the amount of screentime, but the loss of other activities such outdoor play. ... It's recommended that kids play outside at least 2 hours/day, 14 hours per week, which will help to delay the onset of myopia and therefore the degree of myopia. We have programs to slow down the progression and avoid getting stronger and thicker glasses every few most to a year. Give us a call today as every diopter matters!!!650-593-1661. https://www.cbc.ca/player/play/1878344771767/
