Join us TOMORROW, Friday, March 26 from 2:30-3:30pm PDT / 5:30-6:30 PM EDT: Fair Play for Girls in Sports will be at the U.S. Soccer Foundation's Urban Soccer Symposium presenting on how to instill #genderequity in #youthsports programming! The #FairPlay workshop will provide key information on how to instill greater, lasting gender equity in youth sports programming so that girls in your community can get into the game for a lifetime of success. ... Nationwide, girls are experiencing fewer opportunities to play and oftentimes those opportunities are inferior compared to boys' programming in the same community. Despite the challenges that exist, gender inequity can be assessed and remediated with simple, approachable, and common sense-oriented steps. JOIN US for the Arts and Entertainment hearing on the "Safe and Equitable Reopening of Sports" on March 17 at 2pm PDT to discuss the consideration of #TitleIX, safe reopening of secondary and post-secondary athletics, lesson learned from our professional sports outlook, and proposed plans of return.
