Use Summer to Get Ahead! Fairmont Summer Programs offers an expansive list of rigorous, relevant, and engaging for-credit UC-Approved courses. This year, all summer high school courses at will be conducted through remote learning. ... Online summer classes teach the same concepts as traditional semester classes, but the lessons are condensed to fit within a shorter term. Our first term begins on June 22. Studies show students were more successful in a notoriously challenging summer course because they were more motivated by the more intensive, shorter-term curriculum. Saving a tough class until summer can also mean less distractions, allowing students to focus on one topic instead of a full course load all at once.
