Hello, Fairfax Parents! Here's an easy craft you can do with your kids. It's a fairy house made of a paper towel roll! Here's what you need: -Paper towel or toilet paper roll -Cupcake wrapper -Tempura or acrylic paint and brush... -Marker -Scissors -Glue See the video below for step-by-step instructions. Note that you'll need a good amount of glue to get the cupcake wrapper to stick to the edge of the roll. I suggest applying the glue to the inside of the wrapper, putting it on a flat surface, and inserting the roll on top of it so that the house dries upside down. That will give the house a little nest of glue to anchor itself in, and prevent the glue from running down the sides of the house. Since this craft is pretty quick, have your kids build an entire village while you get a little work done! Feel free to post pictures of your finished houses in the comment thread below.
