How pretty are these caramel hi lights with shadow root!? I love doing shadow roots especially on brunettes who want hi lights as the hair looks so much better growing out. There is no bleached lines on the hair as it grows out. So a guest can wear the hair with a natural looking outgrowth. Let me know what you think of this color in the comments. I am loving these post Quarantine hair transformations! My beautiful guest here hasn’t gotten her hair done for about 6 month due to closer of San Francisco salons for 6 month! We gave her a natural gloss color and a good cut as well as did her eyebrows. I have to say when my guests come in for hair, they love that I can also tint and shape their brows all while they are relaxing with a treatment in their hair. WANT HEALTHY SHINY HAIR? One of the most important things you can do is brush your hair before bed or before shower. Here is what it does for you: Stimulates the scalp and spreads sebaceous oils from the root of the hair to the tip.... Adds volume and enhance hair's overall look and health. Alleviates oily scalp and conditions dry ends. If you have curly hair, unless you wash it everyday( which you should not as it will dry out your hair and scalp) you are most likely not going to brush your hair out before bed since you don’t want for it to get to frizzy. But if you decide to do that , you can always just take a shower in the morning and rinse your hair without shampoo. If your hair seems extra dry, you can always put some conditioner on the end. This way your curls will reshape back to normal. Or if you are planning on washing your hair, maybe an hour or 30 mins before try to do dry bushing first. Here is how to do it: Flip your head over and start brushing the hair from the base of your neck to the front of your hairline. Keep doing this for at least 2-3mins Flip back your hair and start brushing your hair back for another 2-3 mins If you can, wait a while before washing it. That would be best. The best type of brush to use for this is a natural boar bristle. This technique really helps to stimulate the scalp and bring lots of blood flow to the scalp. My dear clients, I have been getting your texts and messages about the reopening of the salon. Unfortunately we are not opening yet. All but 11 counties in California are reopening but we are not one for them. But I am sure that, that will change soon. I know you are all anxious and are so ready to get your hair done.. we are almost there.. just a little longer. Please be patient and I will keep you posted! Love you all!

Oh how much I miss playing with fun color and cutting hair.. I have to say taking a break is good some times but not for this long! As our governor stated that salons might be opening up soon, I feel like there is finally a light at the end of the tunnel. There has been a lot of behind the scenes happening to make sure we are ready to go with all the new protocols we have to follow and the enormous amount of supply we need to keep the salon and everything in the salon s...anities. Since we will need to sensitize everything between each guest, it will take us much longer time per client. Therefore we won’t be able to take as many clients per day as we used to before. Since there is only one of me, I will try my best to take all of my awesome guests as soon as it’s possible. I know you all are eager to get your hair done and I will do my best to accommodate you. But you have to be patient please. I look forward to serving you all as soon as I am able to fit you in the schedule. Thank you for your support, loyalty and generosity. I do have the best clients! Hello There! I hope you guys are staying well! All though it’s not known yet, but some time in the near future the salons will reopen and you will be able to get your hair done again, I promise! As Georgia is the first to open up, we are now getting somewhat (all though it changes from state to state) guide line of how things are gonna go down. .... I think it’s safe to say things will probably never be the same again. So what can we do about that? We can adapt! For us at @fainak_beauty the health of our families, our guests and their family’s and other guests is taken very seriously. We must do what we can to follow all the guidelines to keep everyone safe and healthy. Here are a few things that will be different: both the stylist and the client will need to be wearing a You guys will have to bring your own mask. there will be no waiting areas. Guests will have to come in only when they stylist is ready to take them. there will be a four question survey a guest will need to complete before coming in ,like if they have been sick or around anyone that is... that goes for the stylist as well. If am not feeling well, I will have to reschedule my guest to another day. There will be no magazines or business cards. the refreshments are to be served only by the stylist. there will also be LOT of sanitation, disinfection happening to make sure all is clean I am not trying to scare you guys but just preparing you all for what to expect. This is a lot for us stylists to take in as well, so we all just have to do our part to keep our community safe! Hello there! Hope everyone is enjoying their Sunday and staying well! I though I’d share some knowledge with on how to properly take care of your nails your self now that we are not able to get our nails done. Here are the steps that can be done to both nails and toe nails. For this you may need to get some things ordered but most likely you all ready have these thing at home. The Most important thing to remember is to properly clean and disinfect your tools Always... have 70% rubbing alcohol at home. I like to put it in a small spray bottle and spray all my tools before and after I use them to prevent infection. 1) File or clip your nails. Remember it’s always best to file nails in one direction as this prevents them from splitting. 2) Soak in warm water for about 5 mins. 3) After, apply cuticle remover and let it soak in for 2 mins. 4) After that use a cuticle pusher to gently push your cuticles and going in circular motion gently scrub off the dead skin. 5) Next- use the nippers to cut off any hang nails. Try not to over do it with cutting too much skin off as this just creates more issues. 6) Next up-apply cuticle oil and massage it into the nails. For that you can use any oil you have at home like grape-seed coconut or olive oil. The oils don’t just help keep your nails and cuties moist but also helps to grow your nails. 7) The final step is to apply a good hand cream to keep those hands from drying out with all the hand washing we have been doing.. I know this is not the same as getting your nails done but it’s time we learn how to take care of our own body for a change I hope this helps and let me know if you have any questions or comments #beautifulnaturalnails #doitmyself #selfcare

Happy Earth Day! Thank you Mother Earth for providing us with everything we need in this world. I am truly grateful. I hope you all staying healthy and safe and enjoying this wonderful season of Spring! As much as I love this season with all the beautiful things that come with it (including my birthday ) I also really don’t like all the allergies it brings. ... Where I live, there is so many things flying in the air right now that it make is difficult to go outside to enjoy the great weather. All though it’s still deciding if it wants to be hot or cold.. one day it’s summer, next day we are back to winter. But I think that’s what spring is all about. I do enjoy watching all the new, fresh, green leaves coming back in the trees.
