Delayed Opening - Your Health Comes First After much consideration and discussion with our trainers, local health officials, and medical specialist we have decided to delay our opening. As of today, Eisenhower Health in Rancho Mirage is reporting a near quadrupling of COVID-19 hospitalizations since the end of May. Yesterday Riverside County Health officials reported the largest one day increase in cases since the start of the pandemic and a rapid rise in hospitalizations. A...s a health and wellness business, we feel that it would be hypocritical and dangerous to open our fitness studio at this time, regardless of what the state and county are permitting. We know that many of you will be disappointed, as are we, but again as a business that promotes health, we feel that it is better to err on the side of caution. We opened F45 to contribute to the health and longevity of our community members and that mission is still what we are all about. We will revisit our opening in another two weeks. On a brighter note, there is now an option for weighted workouts through the on-demand at-home sessions available on the F45 Challenge App. We would be happy to check out equipment, such as dumbbells and kettlebells, to those who would like them. We will be at the studio after this Saturday’s Zoom workout until noon to loan out equipment. Yours in health, Jill & Bruce

A MESSAGE FROM OUR FOUNDER & CEO, ADAM GILCHRIST Dear F45 Family, Like most of you, we are outraged and deeply saddened by the brutal, unjust death suffered by George Floyd. This was a wake-up call in acknowledging the broader issues of systemic inequalities and injustices suffered foremost by the black community. We are at the height of a global movement to mobilize our communities and our resources to eliminate racism and empower equality. We stand firmly against racism, pr...ejudice, or discrimination of any kind. F45 is sharing its preliminary steps to take long-term action in support of the Black Lives Matter movement, with more to come. At F45, we understand the value of community and as a global brand, I believe we have a social responsibility to take meaningful steps in an effort to uplift underserved and underheard voices, beginning with the black community. While there is no short-term solution, as allies we are committed to investing the time and work needed for effective change. This is an important opportunity for us to listen and to learn. We have spent time over the last week to reflect. We know we can do better; we can do more. As a start, we will look to our black community leaders, employees, franchisees, members and third-party allies to guide us forward. Together with our new oversight committee, we will: Identify and build actionable programs and campaigns that look to serve and empower the black community. Work with our black stakeholders to thoughtfully establish a long-term alliance with a charitable beneficiary in support of black equality and justice. Expand our focus to include the Indigenous community. As an Australian-born brand, we also want to make a commitment to fighting against racial injustice on our home soil. This is not a moment. It’s a movement. One which requires introspection, discussion, action, and cultural change. We encourage you to stand with us and band together in the fight for justice and to unite our community our sole mission. We will continue to provide updates as we pave the way forward together. We have received a lot of questions asking if we are opening and to answer those questions, no right now we ARE NOT opening. Your health and safety comes first, so we will continue to follow the orders. But we hope to see you all very soon!
