Shannon is a hairstylist by profession, a mother and is just such a kind human being! The last few months Shannon has shown true commitment to her goals by training consistently and learning about how nutrition can enhance her results. We are proud of you! ... Read below for Shannon’s experience with @f2gymtemecula! My favorite part of my experience here at F2 is the community. I never new what a gym family meant till now. As most of us would say 2020 hasn’t been the best, with that being said I finally decided to try F2 after one of my friends was always texting me places to try that she felt would be a good fit with my crazy personality After the first day I was pretty much hooked. Josh and his team took the time to make sure my form was good and where I was at my strength level. I’m not going to lie I didn’t come into the gym looking to do pull ups, hand stand push ups and a few other bar tricks (I’m still learning the names of), But I have found myself pushing myself to new goals. The list is long. My experience with both coaches Maria and Lucie keep me accountable and educating me on nutrition, along with pushing me when I need it but don’t always want it. After just a month I got the hubby to join, and I have to say we have both made changes to our fitness goals, and nutrition. The Dreaded Burpee! Here is Coach Lucie demonstrating a 3 count burpee (a faster, advanced and more efficient version) Don’t worry if you are not there yet. The good thing is you really can’t mess up a burpee It’s time to stop dreading the burpee and embracing it. It’s a full body move that works on your mental toughness too! With that said to be efficient and have a good flow don’t squat the burpee, it’s a hip hinge/flexion move. ... Next time you are at the gym and burpees come up ask your trainer how your burpee looks.
