I know first-hand how hard this year has been.. Small Business Owner, parent to school age Black sons, ill parent, covid scares, full time employee of the #1 healthcare facility in NorCal...plus a host of other lifely stuff! Trust me I get it! But my faith has never wavered and my determination and decision to keep #ExpressWeaveBar open was always on my mind. I had choices like we all do... But closing was not 1 of them. Those who stood by my side, encouraged and didn't judge..., supported us, etc...I thank you! I thank you! I thank you!! Today I was one of very few small Black Owned businesses who were awarded a economic grant by the Sac Black Chamber of Commerce (courtesy the City of Sacramento). SHOUT OUT 5th district/Stockton Blvd Corridor who also awarded me Emerging Business of the year 2020! #LittleButMighty I'm choosing to spend the remainder of 2020 highlighting the good and cherishing those who mean the most to me! Prayers to better days in 2021. But I am thankful for 2020!
