It is so easy to get caught up in the numbers of Sunday attendance, hands raised and financial gifts offered. While those are all good things to measure, we don’t want to become so focused on them that we sacrifice our call as leaders to go deeper. To create space for the Spirit to transform lives. To lead the people in our communities into the presence of the Living God. To make true disciples of Jesus who make disciples...who make disciples. When we grow deep first, we get a front row seat to transformation that grows our churches wide.

"Before Rooted, the church had a large Sunday morning Adult Bible Class model for discipleship with virtually no midweek adult small groups. During 2015 all of that changed! Over 600 people experienced Rooted and now one year later over 250 people are currently meeting in weekly Life Groups. Participants in these groups were spread evenly among ages 20’s to 70+, and from long time members to people who were brand new or had not yet attended the church! The impact was great fo...r all who participated with over 15 baptisms and 100’s who connected in a small group and/or began serving for the first time. All of this was taking place while the church went through the process of changing it’s name. Having all the Rooted participants deepening their connection with God, the church and their purpose helped to give the congregation an anchor to weather the storms associated with a name change.
