Join us for a Weekend on Main! As of tomorrow, June 19th outdoor dining and both indoor/outdoor retail can begin. This has been long awaited and our downtow...n merchants here in Pleasanton have been eagerly anticipating and preparing for this moment. For our downtown businesses, safety is of the utmost importance. The PDA is working hard to help provide resources to our downtown businesses to ensure the health and safety of their employees and our community. They are prepared for reopening and ready to serve you safely! In an effort to support our downtown merchants in this reopening and to begin reactivation of downtown, the City of Pleasanton will implement a vehicle access closure throughout Main Street in order to allow all downtown merchants the opportunity to expand their business footprint. Main Street will be closed every Friday afternoon through Sunday evening starting this weekend at 4PM Friday, June 19th, and ending at 8PM Sunday, June 21st. Parking will not be allowed on Main Street starting at 2PM on Fridays. The street closure will follow this format every weekend through August 9th depending on future allowances and regulations from ACPHD.
