Great schools! Accomplished teachers! What more can you ask? We are a district that focuses on whole child outcomes but maintain a strong academic reputation. Enrollment period is open! http://www.eurekausd.org//2021-2022----New-Stu/index.html
Join us in this very important journey! Dear EUSD parents, guardians, We wish to invite you to join a small steering/advisory group to help our district transform into a more inclusive place for all families and students. This year, 2021, the focus will be on racial relations and injustice. This committee has the following goals:... 1. Articulate a DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) vision and multi-year plan for the district. 2. Provide guidance to the district as it evolves to a more inclusive school community. 3. Collaboratively develop an equity statement to be incorporated in the district’s mission and vision. 4. Provide input about DEI tasks that are planned for all stakeholders. As we focus on race, racial relations, and racial injustices, topics discussed may bring discomfort and negative emotions. We want to invite you to be vulnerable, lean in, and listen loudly. Please complete the form below if you want to join us in this journey. There will be three meetings this year (all virtual at this point): January 19, March 16, and May 11, from 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm. Thank you! https://docs.google.com//1FAIpQLSfpUJopAB_9L-dh6/viewform
It is fun pretending to be a bird! In this science lesson, Excelsior students explored the concepts of adaptation and survival using a lab called Bird Beaks and Seeds. Kudos to Mrs. Crawford and her learners!

Eureka USD is now on Winter Break, students will return on Tuesday, January 5. If your child attends school in the District and has tested positive for COVID-19, please call our COVID Hotline at 916-680-0878 to share this information. This will allow us to notify any close contacts of your child as soon as possible, which could prevent the spread of COVID-19 in our community.
We are experiencing internet outage. Please know we are trying our best to get WiFi access back.
In Mrs. Pool's Kindergarten Classroom, kids are learning about weather and climate. These pictures show how dedicated our teachers are at providing excellent learning experiences in Science, to our students, despite the challenges of distance learning.
Eureka USD community did it! 89 families received holiday cards, gift cards and a holiday meal voucher today! Together over $10,000 in gift cards were donated! We appreciate the support of our school counselors, Granite Bay Rotary, and PTC members Jenny Crawford and Diana Tanner in helping organize this opportunity! Thank you to our Director, Kristi Marinus, for her leadership in organizing the event.
We are still in need of more gift cards. Please consider donating. All cards should be turned into school offices by Friday morning as families are picking up on Saturday. We are serving 89 families and need your help! Let's rally around spreading cheer in EUSD. https://tinyurl.com/EUSDGiving
