Quick update for you all re: indoor dining. @lapublichealth announced that restaurants can re-open indoor dining today (March 15) with reduced capacity. We can’t wait to welcome you back, but we’re making the decision to wait until more of our employees can get fully-vaccinated. Restaurant workers only became eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine on March 1, so we want to do everything we can to ensure comfort and safety for all! Please stay tuned for updates in the coming weeks. P.S. the good news is that we can now welcome up to 3 different households per table for outdoor dining! Catch up with your nearest and dearest on our patio.

Tonight's "Cellar Night" selection: Domaine Michel Lafarge Volnay, Burgundy, France 2017 ($30). Pull up a chair on our charming patio as Sommelier Zaitouna Kusto pours this special Burgundy by the glass, alongside a small cheese pairing. A family domaine, Frédéric Lafarge continues his late father Michel's legacy to produce some of the greatest wine in Volnay. It's as planet-friendly as can be, thanks to the incredible care of his biodynamically farmed vineyards. The grapes are de-stemmed, vinified traditionally (there's nothin' modern in their winemaking!) and very little new oak is used in the cellar. #EstersWine #EstersCellarNight

The Rustic Canyon Family of Restaurants will be closing all of our businesses for the day on Election Day - November 3 - to give our employees time to vote and the opportunity of supporting the democratic process by helping others who might need help getting to the polls on that day. We will pay all regular scheduled staff for this day. We’ve put together internal newsletters in English & Spanish outlining all the official county & state election resources/deadlines, l...ike how to register, check voter status and view sample ballots with local measures & candidates. We've also provided links and suggestions for ways to support the voting process, like volunteering to be a poll worker, driving friends & family to a polling place and more. While our industry has been hit so hard during this time, we felt closing for the day to give our team the freedom and time to enact this right was absolutely vital to our community and the democratic process.
