Middle school is a time of growing, changing and preparing for the future. Students at El Rancho come out prepared for high school and beyond. If you have questions about enrollment or how your student would go about joining our coyote community, click the link. http://elranchocharter.org/?page_id=4942 (photo cred: 2019)
Where’s the I? The I is meant to be YOU! Remember to be the ‘I’ in kind every day, but especially now. You have the opportunity to change any day around, but the choice is yours.
This month, we’re talking all things woodshop! One of our students’ favorite electives and something that makes El Rancho so unique. Follow our Woodshop teacher as he showcases the projects that were done on Zoom at home and things that can be made once we are back together. Follow along as we continue showcasing woodshop behind the scenes!
Why we became a charter school? We wanted to share a piece of our story that we became a charter school to become a better public school for our students and our community! We feel so lucky as we close out October to have such a strong community of students and teachers supporting us virtually.
Pause. Breathe. Let's talk about something fun! Halloween! How is your family making the holiday special during this time? And another question we have to know, what candy are you looking to snack on? Picture Taken: 2019
Looking forward to seeing the Wednesday/Thursday group tomorrow!
It’s a great day to not cook dinner! Head to Chipotle tonight and support El Rancho’s PTSA!
Coyotes! We will continue with 100% virtual learning tomorrow. All students should stay at home.
Charter School. What does that word mean to you and what questions do you have about what makes a school a charter? We're happy to answer your questions and explain how we add to the community we are in. PC: 2019
Coyotes! All classes will be online tomorrow. Stay safe!
Just a piece of our school that makes us a little different from the rest - wood shop! When we are back in the classroom our students have the opportunity to work with real-life tools and create actual wood pieces that they can take home and use. PC:2019
Alright coyotes, take a seat and listen up! What has been your favorite part of learning at home so far? Is it virtual physical education, wood working at home or celebrating national pet day over your computers? Let us know! (PC: 2019)
Due to our ability as a charter to allow parents to have a more active role in their student's education we offer unique experiences such as our school garden. We'd like to thank our students for using their "green thumbs" to keep our garden green and growing.
