Attention Golfers: With the recently announced changes to the City and County of San Francisco Department of Public Health ordinances, we need to make some adjustments to our operating procedures immediately. Effective TUESDAY, DECEMBER 8th, Golden Gate Park Golf Course will be allowing TWOSOMES ONLY. It is not required that both players be from the same household. This will require some dramatic changes to our existing reservations for the foreseeable future.... All of the existing reservations THROUGH SATURDAY DECEMBER 14th will be CANCELLED. You will be able to rebook as a SINGLE OR TWOSOME ONLY. We know that this is disappointing news and we feel for you and all of those affected by this latest order from our City and County. We appreciate your understanding and patience as we continue to work hard to provide the safest environment possible.

UPDATE: 9/9/2020 Our course, and all SF municipal courses, will be closed today due to unsafe playing conditions. We will keep you all posted with more information. This is not an open invitation for free golf. Please do not visit the course or attempt to play while we are closed. Spare the air and stay safe!

Good morning golfers! Here is a quick read on a few easy tasks you can do the next time you’re out on a course. If every golfer fixed at least one ball mark or replaced one divot it would go a long way in preserving course conditions! Have a great day!

We currently have a limited amount of tee times available each day. We are limited to a maximum size of 2 golfers per tee time. Tee time reservations can be made on our website goldengateparkgolf.com If you do not see any tee times available on the online reservation portal it is because we are fully booked! Yes we have reopened! Tee times are going fast!

We are excited to announce that we will reopen for business this Monday, May 4th. The City of San Francisco has allowed golf courses to reopen under strict guidelines and regulations to help minimize the spread of COVID-19 and ensure the safety and wellbeing of our staff and customers. The following rules and guidelines MUST be abided by all guests at all times: Clubhouse Rules:... If you feel sick STAY HOME Customers showing signs of symptoms will be excluded from entering property Only golfers with reserved tee times will be allowed on property Golfers will only be allowed to enter the property 30 minutes or less prior to their designated tee time Sanitize your hands prior to entering the clubhouse Credit Card payment is required (please limit transactions) NO CASH ACCEPTED! A mask or facial protection is required to enter the clubhouse Please do not gather in the parking lot, clubhouse or practice area Practice Facility and On-Course Rules: Tee times are required to play and will be limited to single players and twosomes only (no walk-up reservations will be allowed). Threesomes and Foursomes will not be permitted on the golf course under any circumstance! Driving range and putting green will be open ONLY to guests with reserved tee times and lessons. Guests are required to maintain six feet of social distancing both on and off the course All golfers must use their own equipment. Rental golf clubs will NOT be available and sharing of equipment is prohibited. Cups have been raised. Once your ball hits the cup it will be considered holed out Do not remove or touch the flagsticks All ball washers, benches, rakes and trashcans have been removed from the course Once your round of golf is completed, we ask that you exit the property immediately Additional Information: Our course will be open every day (7:00am 7:30 pm) Twilight rates begin at 6:00pm Pull carts will be available to rent (Our staff will sanitize carts before and after each use) Tee times can be reserved on our website goldengateparkgolf.com Staff members can take corrective actions when safety is compromised Guests found not complying with the rules stated will be asked to leave the property If you have any additional questions or concerns please contact the clubhouse 415-751-8987. Our goal has always been to provide you with a great golf experience. As this situation is new to us all, we do expect some bumps in the road. Please be patient and help us by abiding by all rules. We are happy to reopen and look forward to seeing you all out on the course! Finally, there will be road construction the week of May 4th on 47th Ave near the golf course entrance. Please follow all signs and directions provided by the road crew to safely enter and exit the property. Stay safe and healthy!

An update on our course: Golf has been added to the list of activities that we will be able to participate in beginning next week. We have yet to receive clearance from the SF Rec and Park department to reopen. We will update you all with more information in the next few days. We ask that you please do not visit the course until we reopen! Thank you for your continued support!

Attention Golfers: We hope you all are staying safe and healthy. It has brought to our attention that many of you are still venturing out and playing on our course while we are closed. We please ask that you abide by the shelter in place regulation and avoid congregating and playing on the course. We understand that you need exercise and activities to do but please do not visit the course. Thank you!

Attention golfers: Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the city-wide lockdown we have been told to cease operations beginning at 5:00 pm today (3/16). We will keep you notified of more information when we have it. Stay healthy and take care!
