Wisdom Wednesday We are currently in the Waxing Crescent Moon cycle, and it's all about realization. With self-awareness comes realization. Knowledge is power. ... Self examination of your role within a situation is important. As we move into the early waxing cycle, light begins to shine upon the shadows, illuminating what is. This is the beginning of a powerful process: realization. When we decide to really examine our lives without fear or favor, it can be hard; this is, no doubt. We might not like what we discover, after all, yet without self-awareness and the will to act upon those realizations (whether we perceive them as a negative or positive) we do not get change and growth. The realization that we have a pattern, a bad habit or behavior that has caused us pain is a powerful position, even though we may feel worry and pain around this discovery. We can even take personal responsibility to change our situation since we know our current position. Knowing ourselves more completely enables us to accept ourselves more readily and to dare to love exactly who we are! What is it about the moon that makes it so special? We are influenced by the moon just like the shift of the tides, we too feel the shifts of our body as we are made of mostly water. We know the feminine fertility cycle matches the length of a lunar cycle and that there are more births on a full moon and dark moons. Follow the cycles of the moon and create rituals to clear, cleanse and set new intentions. They deserve the same love and compassion as any human being! They have so much to teach and so much healing and unconditional love to give. The unbelievable thing is, they continue to give even when we mistreat them purposely or unknowingly. When we truly study their non predatory culture , this is when we can truly become higher beings and better versions of ourselves.

We are all here on Earth living in a time of great change. Because of our communication systems, a small change in consciousness can affect millions of minds - an individual can change the world. We often hear you say, "What can I do? I am one small person?". You can hold the integrity for your whole species, you can maintain empathy for other species and for the whole organism of the Earth. It is exponential; all minds are joined. One mind touches many others who in turn to...uch many others and soon mass belief tips the scales in a whole new direction. Don't be content with the status quo. Examine your values, connect to the purer, higher consciousness that encompasses all of the natural world and then listen to that intuitive connection.
