On Monday, we hosted a small, socially distanced retreat by the beach to celebrate our achievements of the past year - the TADA List. Which helped clarify our purpose for the remaining quarter. It was so refreshing, and strangely satisfying to take a break from pushing forward. Like the ocean tides, to ease back and enjoy the reality that much of our efforts this year were successful in various ways. The ebb and flow of the tide is like all productivity and creative work. We ...have to recede in order to gain momentum and surge forward again. How are you finding encouragement and refreshment in creative vision these days? What is one achievement from 2020 that you are most proud of? (hint: if nothing comes to mind, take a look at your calendar... chances are you have done much more this year than you have given yourself credit for - even if it's finishing that book you've been meaning to read since 8th grade) See more
