We aren't fooling you! It is AN EGGSTRAVAGANZA at Spring Break Camp today. Our day jump-started with dying eggs and decorating them with crayons, glitter, and stickers. We made and ate yummy deviled eggs and play eggstra fun games. Happy APRIL FOOL’S DAY!

Wrapping up SPRING BREAK CAMP with CRAZY DRESS DAY. Wear your crazy mismatched, colorful clothes to school, with socks & shoes. Campers will participate in a fun create-your-own skit game as well as other crafts and games.

Our upper grade class got to test the buoyancy of pumpkins in our school pool! They started with writing clear, concise & predictable hypotheses as well as taking different measurements of three very different pumpkins! October is one of my favorite months to teach! The students have a blast using pumpkins for science experiments, using the seeds for math and art projects, and writing creatively about Halloween. Remember that your child can wear their costume to school this Thursday! I can’t wait to see them all dressed up! Mrs. Peyton, Kindergarten Teacher

We are looking forward to seeing students & staff dressed in their Halloween costumes on Thursday. Class poem recitals and parties will be live on our parent's chit-chat group.

El Rancho School's co-founder, Allie Brown Ritchie, was born today in 1906. She was a life-long learner and entrepreneur. For decades, our kindergarteners would visit Mrs. Ritchie in her office and have individual reading lessons with her. She taught hundreds of El Ranchos' young scholars to read through sounding out words (phonics)! In her free time, Mrs. Ritchie was an avid reader and traveled extensively - seeing 6 of the 7 wonders of the world. She enjoyed playing golf, swimming, painting and visiting local gardens. A proud wife to Bill, mother to Anne & Geary and grandmother to Scott, Stefanie, Troy, Kevin, Holly and Wendy. El Rancho School is an amazing place thanks to her vision.
