Every so often we come across a problem with how the square footage for a Elk Grove home is reported to the Tax Assessor. Here is an example... You buy a new home in Elk Grove and the builder's paperwork tells you that the square footage of the home is 2500 sqft. You buy the home and 4 years later you decide to sell. When the appraiser for the new buyer goes to to check the tax records the home has been recorded as having 2000 sqft. It's going to be a great day in real estate! I've got a new home coming on the market the beginning of May! It's completely remodeled and ready for a new buyer. More details on that one soon! Also, finally got through to my buyers out of state lender and worked out an issue. I tried to convince my client that this was going to be a struggle working with this lender and yet sometimes they have to make their own decision. That's OK because we got it worked out and we are back ...on track to close! I saved them $1400 in the process! The buyer is texting me daily wanting in the home!
