Elk Grove Historical Society's Big Day of Giving begins on April 20 thru May 7. Our regular fundraisers have been cut off this year due to the Corona Virus, so we desperately need support for our Rhoads School scholarship program and our project to construct the summer 1920's style kitchen at the Museum. You can donate online during this big event at http://bigdayofgiving.org/elkgrovehistoricalsociety beginning April 20th. Any and all donations are tax deductible & greatly appreciated. Acknowledgement letters will be sent after May 7th. Thanks for your support.

The Elk Grove Historical Society's HUGE Yard Sale starts tomorrow, Thursday (17th) at 8:00 am to 2:00 pm and runs at the same time on Friday (18th), Saturday (19th), and Sunday (20th). We have twice as much stuff as we have ever had in past years thanks to many who cleaned out their closets, garages, and attics during the stay at home orders. We have so many items that we will restock each afternoon from the overstock supply in our huge storage container. This is our only fun...draiser and pricing is fantastic. There are things that we have never had before and LOTS of them! You will be amazed. Bring a mask because we were required to follow COVID recommendations. You won't be disappointed. See you there! Hurry! We have tons of furniture, tons of clothes, tons of books, toys, lamps, art work, tools, garden supplies, ADA equipment, sports equipment, a Boutique with jewlery and collectibles, etc., holiday items, kitchen stuff, and row after row of every conceivable item and catagory you can imagine.

The Elk Grove Historical Society is no longer accepting donations for our Huge Yard Sale on Sept 17, 18, 19, & 20. The response by the residents of Elk Grove has been over whelming. We no longer have any space to sort and price the donations. Thank you all for the donations. This will be a very big Yard Sale. Everything will be priced to sell in 4 days. Watch for more details.

The Elk Grove Historical Society has canceled all of our activities through Sept. 14th due to the COVID-19 situation. We believe that the next 3 months will give us enough time to allow issues to subside, and we can gather safely after that. We hope to bring back the annual Yard Sale fundraiser on Sept 18, 19 & 20. For more information on our activities as well as how to donate to our work preserving Elk Grove History, visit www.ElkGroveHistoricalSociety.com
