Old Town Maravilla will be covered in color from Arizona to Ford streets on Cesar E. Chavez Avenue. Over 100 handmade quilts will be on display (some for sale a...s well) on the sidewalk, inside Colibri Boutique and a Handcrafts tiendita in El Gallo Plaza. Virgen de Guadalupe quilts will be on display in the Centro Maravilla Community Center Rose Garden! Tell your primas, tias, and bring your mami!!!! Special quilts from the Quilt Expo de Mexico sent by our sisters in Puebla, Mexico will be on display as well! If you would like to use public transportation to come to the quilt show the MTA routes 770 and 668 all get you there. The Sol East LA bus route also is a local bus route that has a route going down E. Cesar Chavez Ave. Parking is available near the corner of Ford Blvd and E. Cesar Chavez Ave. (Near the address 4500 E. Cesar Chavez Ave. East Los Angeles, CA 90022). Additional parking is available at Centro Maravilla located at 4716 E. Cesar Chavez Ave. Foodies: We have plenty of restaurants for you to pick from! La Carreta, El Gallo Grill, Moles la Tia, La Azteca, Cities, and don't forget your pan dulce at El Gallo Bakery! La Soledad Church will also be having their Quermez, so there will be plenty for the children to do!!!
