I experienced a magical moment yesterday. We held the second class for the fourteen-week Career Coach Entrepreneur Academy (link in bio). We are certifying a brilliant, dedicated class. Last night the focus was the Elevate Career Cycle, which is a model I have developed over my thirty years in the career coaching field. The students loved my Introduction to the Elevate Career Cycle YouTube video, featuring Desiree Aragon. Then I presented an overview of the model and pointed out that my book, Elevate Your Career: Live a Life You’re Truly Proud Of, offers a deeper dive into the model and related case studies. Then I highlighted our work to be done next week training these emerging career coaches to administer and interpret the Elevations career assessment. I could see my student’s eyes light up as they were receiving practical, integrated, contemporary tools and resources they can use to transform lives. It was a moment of both validation and feeling that the professional challenges I have faced over the years were all worth it.
