Today I choose to focus on Joy and love! My vote has been casted but I shall not give in to anxiety and stress. So instead I am working on this beautiful wedding, prepping dinner in the crockpot, feeling little man wiggle, and listening to Disney Music No matter what happens I pray for unity, peace, and grace in our great nation. This will always be a safe zone full of happiness, love, and celebration of our differences, our cultures, our accomplishments, and our milestones. Love you all xoxo

Congratulations to Arturo and Kristina they tied the knot on a beautiful afternoon at Paradise Point Resort and Spa! COVID cancelled their original plans, but that didn’t stop these two from having an incredible Micro Wedding with their closest friends and family! Every little detail was so beautifully thought out from the stunning ceremony site decorations all the way down to the custom Face Masks! And can we take a moment and point out how incredible Arturo’s suit jacket is..., love it! After Bride & Groom portraits they were whisked away for a dinner and dancing cruise on Mission Bay! I was truly honored that they trusted me to capture their wedding day especially when I told them I was going to be 8 months pregnant lol! One of my favorite things in the entire world to do on a wedding day that has rose petals at the ceremony site is to get family and friends involved by throwing petals in the air for some epic portraits! <3

It sure feels weird not shooting mini sessions right now, instead we are doing laundry and cleaning house

I just finished another Katelyn James Photography course and this one was all about the pretty details we get to photograph when you’re getting ready on your wedding day! I’ve known this family for almost 8 years now and I finally got them all in front of my camera all at once! It’s pretty amazing when you get to know your bosses so well and enjoy where you work that it turns into a work family!
