We were all shocked and saddened by the news of the shooting in Thousand Oaks. We are all part of a strong community that is coming together to help the victims. Blood drives are being organized, including one at La Reina High School today from 10am to 2pm. Please contact United Blood Services (877) 25-VITAL for information on scheduling appointments and finding locations of other drives in the area. Walk-in donations are being accepted, but you may experience a wait. Universal blood donors (type O negative) are especially needed. Elements Massage in Thousand Oaks will give a massage to anyone who donates blood in these drives.
