Due to the recent surge of COVID-19 cases and current pandemic conditions in Los Angeles County, the presidents of the 12 South Coast Conference colleges, which includes El Camino College, unanimously decided to opt out of competition for the upcoming California Community College Association (CCCAA) Spring I season, which affects fall and winter sports.

We're excited to welcome Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights (CHIRLA) Legal Services Director Luis Perez to today's Undocumented Student Action Week "DACA Information Session." Luis became the first undocumented student to earn a degree from UCLA School of Law when he graduated in 2010. His work has helped thousands of children apply for DACA in California, and his advice has benefited thousands more in other states. Perez currently directs the CHIRLA Legal Services Department, which provides low-cost immigration services, including DACA and naturalization advising, removal defense, and family unification advocacy.
