D&E Dance Company

We are still on at the Moose Lodge. We will have hand sanitizers and the restroom is stocked with soap, water and paper towels. Last week we had more advanced dancers and worked on some fun moves, some syncopations and whips. We will continue with the whips this week. Come check it out!

Tonight, March 4th, is the beginning of the new session of Balboa. Both the in Intermediate and the Beginning classes the students will be learning moves that are so fun to do and show so well. We can hardly wait to teach them. if you have never done Balboa, you don't know what you are missing. It is all lead and follow, however, both the leader or follower can embellish the moves with their own syncopations. The musicality of the music done by the jazz greats of the 20s, 30s and 40s can be expressed so well by the moves of Balboa. Hope so see in in one of Balboa classes soon!

Hi Everyone,Just a reminder that Dick and I are teaching West Coast Swing at the Moose Lodge tonight from 6-7:00. It is an early evening event. We will tackle the whip (8 count) tonight. We have had a good crowd there up to now, so we are pretty happy. Don't forget they have a little restaurant and bar, in case you want to eat or have a drink. Happy Hour is from 4-7:00 and from what I hear the drinks are very inexpensive??? Oh, and yes, you get a free hot dog with a purchase of a drink. But, back to our class. Come take the class, meet some new people and have some fun. .

It is time for a new session for Balboa. This new session will go from this Wednesday, March 4th to March 25th. We will continue both beginning and intermediate classes. You can still join the beginning class. We will review and teach new material in this class.. If you have experience, you can join the intermediate class. I hope to see you all again in one or both classes.. They were really fun last month. We love doing Balboa...we just need to find more venues to do... the dance outside of class.
