Edison Computech Middle School

Weekly Messenger for Computech Middle School. We are starting quarter 4 this week. Next week is Spring Break for all students. When we return on April 6th, our 7th grade students that have elected to return will do so in a hybrid model either Group A (Tues/Wed in person) or Group B (Thurs/Fri in person). Our 8th grade students will begin the following week for those that have chosen to come in person in a hybrid. For students that chose to stay distanced, they will continue in the same method that we currently use. More information will be shared as district plans and cohort groups are developed and plans are solidified such as transportation and logistics. We will be placing information, such as campus maps, on our website to help students that plan to come in person to know the protocols. Have a Great Week Tigers!

Families, please fill out the survey to let us know if your student will remain in distance learning, or will return in a hybrid model for in-person instruction 2 days each week (due by Tuesday, March 16th). Latest update from Superintendent Nelson regarding reopening schools. Families, please complete the survey to let us know if your student will be returning in a hybrid model 2 days per week in person, or remain fully over distance. All students will continue with their same classes and teachers online whether in person or over distance. Students that elect hybrid will be in person 2 days per week beginning April 6th for our 7th graders and April 13th for our 8th graders. Find out more at www.fresnounified.org.

Computech Middle School Weekly Message. 7th Graders will be able to rank electives for next year, beginning tomorrow. Counselors have a Student Support Workshop following advisory, this week's topic is Time Management and Organization. 8th Grade Move Up Night to Edison is this coming Thursday evening at 5:30pm.

Welcome Back Tigers! We hope you have enjoyed your winter break. We look forward to seeing you virtually, beginning on Tuesday, January 12th, in your odd period classes - 1,3,5, and 7. A reminder that as a result of the current Covid-19 case rates and the subsequent stay at home order, Fresno Unified will not be bringing any student cohort groups on campus as we begin the second semester. We will update you when that changes. All students will begin the second semester over distance learning. We ask that ALL Computech students have a district laptop so that we can ensure all students have equal access to our course curriculum and programs that we will use during distance learning. If you have not done so, please contact them as soon as possible to get a device.

School starts in 19 days!! Computech, along with the rest of Fresno Unified will begin the school year fully online. Please call 457-3939 TODAY to get your Internet Hotspot and/or Laptop if you still need one, or to get assistance with technology. We want our students to be prepared for the launch of the 2020-2021 school year.
