What does Fresno Art Hop mean to to Fresno and more specifically the friends of echo gallery + studio? More importantly how does ArtHop serve what echo gallery + studio is trying to present to the arts community? For me ArtHop has become a fast paced race to see how many galleries one can see on a Thursday night between the hours of 5 and 8 pm. When I opened echo gallery + studio I wanted to create a space for people to come together and grow in the experience of creating a...rt and then sharing their creation with the community. With the existing model we don't have time to develop enough sharing time. So, echo gallery + studio is exploring more creative ways to share our art with the community. Art Hop is out and PopUP is in. What we will be exploring is having PopUP events that are over several days and have longer hours, allowing for a more relaxed art experience for everyone.

Two awesome Fresno potters were in my studio for the last two-day workshop until summer. I had such fun!
