Avalanche Advisory 03/31/2021 https://www.esavalanche.org/forecasts#/eastside-region THE BOTTOM LINE Be on the lookout for areas of unstable snow in the form of loose wet instabilities on solar aspects today. Avalanche hazard is expected to rise to MODERATE at lower elevations while LOW avalanche danger persists near and above treeline. Be particularly cautious on long steep solar slopes, at lower elevations, and in areas near rock outcroppings, cliff bands, and tight couloirs where the effects of warming are amplified. Identify features of concern today and be on the lookout for areas of unstable snow.

Avalanche Advisory 04/09/2021 https://www.esavalanche.org/forecasts#/eastside-region LOW avalanche hazard exists this morning while snow remains frozen however you can expect the hazard to rise to MODERATE as temperatures rise and surface snow begins to melt. Human triggered avalanche will be possible later in the day as solar warming loosens surface snow. Be particularly cautious on steep solar slopes, in areas near rock outcroppings, cliff bands, and tight couloirs where the effects of warming are amplified. Identify features of concern today and be on the lookout for areas of unstable moist snow.

Monday March 29th, 2021 - 7:00am https://www.esavalanche.org/forecasts#/eastside-region BOTTOM LINE Overall LOW avalanche danger exists at all elevations, however that doesn't mean that human triggered avalanches are impossible. Very strong SW winds last night and today mean that isolated small fresh Wind Slabs sensitive to a human trigger may be found on NW-NE-SE facing terrain. Warm temperatures and full sunshine will continue to keep Loose-Wet sloughs possible on E-S-W aspects as they warm, but their size and extent will be limited to small and below treeline due to the cooling effects of the very strong SW winds.

Sunday March 28th, 2021 - 7:00am https://www.esavalanche.org/forecasts#/eastside-region BOTTOM LINE Lots of sizeable loose-wet avalanche activity was reported yesterday. Another day of warm temperatures and sunny skies will lead to Loose-Wet avalanche danger rising to MODERATE on E to S to W facing slopes as they warm where increasing SW winds don’t keep them cool. Shallow point-releases could grow and become consequential especially on long steep slopes that become constricted or end in a gully.
