05/01/2018 Diablo Valley Pool Women's Update We recieved a note from Erin, thanks to all for your donations ($400): "I have been home from the hospital for just over two weeks. Every day I work harder and harder at healing my body and getting my heart stronger. My whole family and I would like to thank everyone for all support, kindness, and generosity from all of you. It means more to us than you will ever know. I hope to see you all soon!"... Erin Gomez & Family Monies Owed - All monies owed needs to be below the $64 allowed limit prior to the halfway point of this season, which is May 2nd. Each team is charged for a minimum of 4 players no matter how many weeks they've played. Corrections/Questions: Cony vs Shannon - The handicap was calculated incorrectly. Shannon's team should've been getting 3 balls handicap per round not 4. This correction did not affect the outcome of any round points. Shannon - Your teams total money paid written on the scoresheet shows $35 but the amounts written next to each players name only totals $27. Who gets credit for the $8 difference? (Charmine $8, Valjean $10, Shannon zero, Mary $9 is what's written on scoresheet) Position Round - This week is position round & final day to get all monies under the allowed limit. Remember no blinds are allowed in the position round, and no new players with less that 2 weeks. In order to cover all our paying sponsors we have to move matches around. Team #1 Cony @ Team #7 Erin - Match to be played at Vinnie's Team #5 Tina @ Team #8 Fawn - Match to be played at Farrington's Team #4 Laura @ Team #6 Shannon - Match to be played at The Office Team #2 Jennifer @ Team #3 Carmen - Match to be played at Cue n Brew We are including the updated Captain's list with, please take a minute to assure we have the correct info for all captains. Players meeting October 12 Rack em UP 7:30 pm Play Starts October 18 For now all I will need from the captains is a confirmation of your participation or not so we can sort out sponsors. Have a good break and great shooting, every one is shooting so much better the handicapp really forced us to shoot the best always, therefore the system worked. Inmense thanks to Leslie for her impecable work on numbers, Tina for Website maintenance, players for participating and my self for managing it all and keep creating opportunities for us to do what we love, shoot a litle more pool Score keeper has provided a payout for every team, I will be sending it via e-mail.
