Julie Volmer just finished setting up this Ludwig kit. She put all new REMO drum heads on and tuned it. Next week this drum set is headed to a high school in San Diego. REMO donates the drum heads that we use to recondition each drum set we send out.

Dewey Linehan the first drum tech at Drums For Drummers. In 2014 we had just begun our mission of taking in donated drum sets, fixing them up and placing them into underfunded schools with music programs. Dewey was right there at the start. Today he came in and tuned three snare drums for us. Dewey it’s great to have you back Drums For Drummers.

At the Drums For Drummers warehouse in Huntington Beach. Drummer and drum tech Julie Volmer completed this Yamaha Stage Custom drum set today. It’s tuned and ready to go with brand new Remo drum heads. Julie you rock! This will be picked up next week by a school in S. Cal. Thanks to REMO for supplying all of our drum heads. We couldn’t do this without your help.

We just finished working on this Ludwig Club Date kit. The floor tom is not a Club Date. We put all new Remo heads on and it sounds amazing! This will be going to an underfunded school with a music program. At the Southern California Drum Show today, John Riley, Music Director at Crawford High School in San Diego, receives a 5 Piece Pearl Drum set from Drums For Drummers, for his school’s music program.

HELP WANTED Percussion technician to fix and assemble donated drum sets and prepare them for placement into underfunded schools with music programs. Past or present drumming experience is a must.
