Just another Saturday in the office. Not really. Giving a presentation on #electrodesiccation for the treatment of #neurofibromatosis. This condition is more common than you think and can impact patients’ lives significantly. There is still no cure for this condition which can result in the formation of hundreds of tumors throughout the body. For further details, please visit my website in my bio or go to nfcentralplains.org.

#peaceforarmenians I don’t typically use this account to post about things other than my practice and it’s happenings... But, for those who are unaware, thousands of independent Armenians (civilians) were attacked last week, unprovoked, by Azerbaijan (aided by Turkey and many report, ISIS) in the area of Artsakh+Stepanakert where I was planning to take my medical mission this year pre-Covid changes. It is a tragedy and now, war rooted in thousands of years of Turkish a...ggression towards Armenians, as is evident by the 1915 genocide of my heritage. The misinformation and falsities being reported by many news organizations about this conflict are alarming. Please be truthfully informed about what is happening, as it has potential to ripple beyond this area in Armenia and afffect all of humanity. Fresh office decor is up. In honor of Armenian Independence Day today, I share one of my favorite shots from last year’s @mendingkids plastic surgery mission in Armenia if I wasn’t a surgeon, I’d be a photographer. (The writing above the door means ‘operating room.’) On September 21, 1991, the people of Armenia voted to proclaim freedom from the Soviet Union reportedly one of the first countries to do so during this time. Thanks to the strength of all who share my her...itage, Armenia continues to prosper, develop and provide countless opportunities to its people that otherwise would’ve never happened without independence. Another favorite shot from Armenia in my stories whoever guesses its location right wins. #transformationtuesday This 42-year-old woman wanted to improve the length of her upper lip... She underwent an upper lip lift to shorten it and re-establish balance between her upper and lower lips. The scars are nicely concealed within the crease between the lip and the nose. With age, the upper lip tends to lengthen and lose definition, and restoring proportionality between the upper and lower lips can have a rejuvenative effect. A secondary perk to this procedure is tha...t it can make the upper lip appear to have better volume and shape. This is done under local anesthesia, takes about an hour’s time and is shown here one-month post-op. Have questions? We’re here in-person & virtually: call 800-958-3778 email [email protected]

This lovely 53-year-old woman wanted to undergo a comprehensive facial rejuvenation (brows, face, neck), citing she felt she looked constantly tired. Often, patients visit me and specifically request a particular surgery. But, it is important to perform a thorough consultation to really examine the areas of concern and offer the right solutions specific to each patient. For her, we isolated dissatisfactions about the lowered position of her eyebrows, sagging facial fat, e...ye hollowing, deep laugh lines, early jowl formation and elongated upper lip. She underwent a simultaneous brow lift, facelift, cheek fat augmentation, and upper lip lift. (The ‘after’ shots here are approximately 6 months post-op.) Refined, elegant results we are both thrilled with. Have questions? We’re here in-person & virtually: call 800-958-3778 email [email protected] @ Pasadena California

Monday motivation to rock it like Amber. A round of applause for my office manager a mom who got her small kids situated with distance-learning last week *and* who keeps this practice running at top speed, always. She answers consultation questions about #facialparalysis to solving tough insurance-payment dilemmas for #neurofibromatosis to spilling real truth about how a VI Peel feels after day 3.... and that’s all before lunch. Say hi to Amber and make it a good week, fol...ks. We’re here in-person & virtually: call 800-958-3778 email [email protected] See more

#MondayMotivation: Less is more. This lovely 34-year-old woman was interested to improve her nasal appearance but was not interested in surgery. She elected to undergo a non-surgical #rhinoplasty (aka, liquid rhinoplasty) using hyaluronic acid filler Restylane. We did this simple and painless procedure in the office with immediate results. The effects can last 6-12 months and are reversible (ie: fillers disappear over time). Much of my rhinoplasty work requires special ...attention & technique for proper nasal proportions and aesthetics, which are essential when undergoing this type of procedure. (And don’t worry, the redness in the last slide fades after about a day.) Have questions? We’re here in-person & virtually: call 800-958-3778 email [email protected] @ Pasadena California

You can wear a mask made by Matthew McConaughey? Yes. Kids are going back to school and Mending Kids is helping to keep children and teachers safe with the new MASKrAID campaign. Can you spot the famous faces? Camille Grammer, Kaia Gerber, Thandie Newton, Gene Simmons & more have all created one-of-a-kind masks for online bidding, happening NOW for one week. Proceeds will purchase masks for children and teachers in vulnerable, underserved communities who have been disproportionately affected by the pandemic.
