*Alpha Online begins tomorrow, January 20th, at 7pm!* Alpha is a chance to explore the big questions of life and faith in a friendly, open, and informal environment. The course takes place online using Zoom. Alpha Online will meet on Wednesdays at 7 PM, beginning January 20 2021 and ending March 31 2021.... Each 90 minute session on Wednesday includes a time of socializing, and a brief talk, followed by small group discussions where all opinions are valued! Complimentary beverages and/or goodies will be sent to your physical address (even if you’re not in California) for some of the sessions, so please include your address during registration. Fractured Actors Theater Company presents: Traveling Terrors: A Haunted Circus Drive-Thru Halloween Experience! The living have an opportunity to catch a glimpse into another realm, where circus entertainers of generations past continue their careers forever. From fortune tellers to creepy clowns, these gifted performers can’t wait to share their spooky delights with you.... This free and socially responsible event takes place in the parking lot of the Ventura Vineyard, home of Fractured Actors Theater Company. Guests will be required to stay in their car, and free candy will be safely distributed to guests at the end of their journey. All performers and event crew will be wearing masks and observing physical distancing. Each party will have a personal host alongside their vehicle to guide them on their journey through the circus. Because of this, we are asking all guests to wear masks as well. To help us estimate expected number of attendees, free registration is encouraged but not required. Happy Pastor Appreciation Day! Now, we don't exactly have a typical set-up here at the VV in terms of having one pastor to celebrate today. Instead, we are blessed with a whole Pastoral Team of four people, made up of Gini Downing, Richard Sochel, Bob Harper, and Wayne Randolph, as well as Bryan White and Catherine Anderson who teach us on the regular as part of our Teaching Team. Please join us in thanking them for how much they pour into our community and make themselves available to walk with us through the hard stuff. Perhaps send them a message and let them know how they've impacted your life through their words and actions!
