Dear Patients, We hope you are all staying well. As we all enter this uncertain time together, we want to do our part to prepare and protect our patients and staff from COVID-19. To do this, our office will be temporarily closed. Our hope is to open again very soon. This is an evolving situation that we will be monitoring closely and will update you as we receive information from the Governor’s office, our local Dental Association, CDC, OSHA and WHO. If you have an appointme...nt that needs to be rescheduled, we will contact you. If you are having a dental emergency, please contact our office. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause but it is important that we do what we can to #flattenthecurve. Thank you. - Your dental team at Nami Cho DDS

Summer is almost here and that means VACATION time is right around the corner. Before you pack your sunnies , check out these 5 travel tips for your teeth. . . Schedule your regular dental visit before your trip: There is no place like home- especially your dental home. Your dentist knows your teeth better than anyone else. Having a recent thorough exam will give you the peace of mind and minimize the chance of any unwanted dental emergencies that can ruin your trip. I...n case of emergencies overseas, contact your regular dentist first: Your dentist can advise you if the emergency is something that needs to be addressed immediately or if it’s something that can wait til you return. Pack your old toothbrush or retainers/night guards: So many people loose their retainers, night guards, and toothbrushes while rushing to check out of their hotels. Bring your old dental appliances when traveling. That if way if you loose it, your fancy permanent one is still waiting for you back home. Chew sugarless gum: It helps relieve ear pressure during a flight and research shows that chewing sugarless gum for 20 minutes after a meal can help prevent cavities. Use bottled water to brush teeth: When traveling to a country where the water is compromised, don’t risk getting traveler diarrhea. Get Back on Track After Your Trip If you let brushing and flossing slide or indulged in too many sweets while away don’t beat yourself up. No judgements. Just make sure you get back on your normal routine of brushing 2x/day, flossing 1x/day, and mouthwashing daily as soon as you get home. Safe travels and happy vacationing!
