#SimiValley #Optometry #Summer #Sunglasses #EyeCare #EyeHealth - Being outside under the sun is one of life’s simple pleasures. But too much time in the sun without eye protection is bad for the eyes. While most people protect their skin from the sun, some don’t realize they need to protect their vision too. Learn all you need to know about polarized sunglasses that provide UV protection here: https://murataeyecare.com/eye-health/polarized-sunglasses/

Your eyeglasses or contact lenses may give you great vision indoors, but what about when you are outdoors. For that, you need prescription sunglasses. If you need vision correction, there is no substitute for prescription sunglasses. Especially if you spend any time outside and value crisp, clear vision in every light, prescription sunglasses are the ideal answer. #SimiValley #Optometry #Coronavirus #COVID19Prevention Update: Dear Murata Eyecare Patients, Updated: March 19, 2020... Dear Murata Eyecare Patients, As COVID-19 continues to impact the global community, we want to update you on the steps we are taking to assure you that the health and safety of our patients and team members are of paramount importance to Murata Eyecare. We are continually monitoring the situation and adopting recommendations by the CDC, local health departments, and doing everything possible to mitigate the risk of developing any kind of illness while visiting our office. In response to the coronavirus we have taken additional measures to make our cleaning and hygiene protocols even more rigorous: -Our eyecare teams are receiving ongoing briefings and enhanced operating protocols. -We continuously clean and sanitize all testing equipment. -We sanitize all surfaces that are touched throughout the day such as counter tops, desks, door handles, and credit card machines. -We have reinforced and directed all team members to continue to follow our strict handwashing procedures. Washing hands or using hand sanitizer for at least 20 seconds, before and after each patient. -We have reinforced with our Eyecare team members if they are not feeling well to stay home and monitor their symptoms. -We have increased the deployment of antibacterial hand sanitizers. We are doing everything possible to protect our Murata Eyecare patients and team members. With that being said, we hope our patients can take the same care for the community that we are. If you are feeling sick or under the weather please get some rest and reschedule your appointment. Thank you in advance for your patience as we work through this difficult time together. We will continue to closely monitor information from our public health officials and follow all guidelines to ensure we are doing everything we can to continue to provide a clean and safe environment for all our patients and team members.
