Ingredients: Chinese Style Pork Ribs: 2 lb pork ribs, cut into 2 pieces 4 quarts boiling waters strainer 1 star anise 2 cinnamon sticks, about 6 long ( 3 per piece) 5 cloves garlic, minced 2 tablespoon shallots, minced 2 tablespoon ginger, minced 4 pieces of dry rehydrated red pepper skin (or substitute: 1 tablespoon red pepper flakes ) 1.5 tablespoon vegetable oil 1 cup white Chinese cooking wine 1 tablespoon hoisan sauce 1 tablespoon oyster sauce 2 tablespoon light soy sauce 2 tablespoon dark soy sauce 1 tablespoon sesame oil 3-4 pieces of rock sugar (substitute 2 tablespoons brown sugar) 2 tablespoon rice vinegar 1 cup of water sesame seeds 1 - 2 sprigs cilantro Garlic Noodles: 1 tablespoon oyster sauce 1.5 teaspoon light soy sauce 1.5 teaspoon fish sauce 1 tablespoon sesame oil 1 tablespoon chicken bouillon 1 teaspoon white pepper 2 teaspoons sugar 8 tablespoon unsalted butter 12 garlic cloves, minced 2 to 3 tablespoons cilantro, finely chopped 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese Optional: 2 teaspoon red pepper flakes 1.5 to 2 lb dry, uncooked, Lo Mein noodles
