DON'T LET YOUR ISSUES GET STUCK IN YOUR TISSUES I haven't been posting on social media lately because I haven't felt inspired to, but I've been reading a book on energy and empaths and felt compelled to share how and why people feel so good after their adjustments. Empaths pick up the energies and emotions of everyone around them and so they carry it in their bodies. With a lot of people working from home and being surrounded by their family constantly, people are merging ...their energies more than before. Besides from the structural stress of sitting in front of a computer at home, people are wearing and carrying the threats, fears and issues of the world. I see patients coming in with heavy bodies and lots of stress literally stuck in their bodies. Aside from their own stress, they are taking on the stress of those around them. Exercising, stretching and massage are great for moving around stuck emotions and helping process them, but the beauty of chiropractic Care is that the adjustments actually reset your nervous system. We're all in sympathetic overdrive right now, and the quick thrusts (known as adjustments) applied to the spine CHANGE THE MATRIX OF YOUR BRAIN, so we are able to rest, digest, and function better. Your spine is the lifeline that connects the brain to the body and adjustments update the brain in real time to what's going on and that it's okay to relax and just be. That's why people feel so great after their adjustments-because it's a quick "reset" (or a "tune up" if you're into cars) and brings the body back to balance. You're letting go off stress and creating more fluidity in the body so you're not so "stuck". 7 years. They say every 7 years all your cells would have been replaced with new ones, so we are essentially a new person after this stretch of time. Whether that's true or not, 7 years is symbolic of growth and change. It's represents a complete cycle. 7 YEARS IN PRACTICE, I've seen times change--people now coming in with zoom meetings running in the background, kids attending class while sitting in the waiting room, to not seeing what all my new patients fully look like w...ith a mask covering half their face. But through it all, this I know for sure, Chiropractic will always thrive because people will always need us.
