Then, I turned my head t...o the side and fired back: Where do you think this coffee comes from? If not for Capitalism if not for PROFIT I don’t get to enjoy this expensive coffee, and you don’t get to serve it to me. I wish I had also told her that running a business is the BEST THING that you can do for the world. It’s not just OK to be successful it’s a reflection of how much good you are doing for the world! That’s why I tip my cap to the person who wants to start a business. That’s why I invest in entrepreneurs with fun ideas. That’s why I teach everything that I know for free on my podcast. You aren’t made to just settle or to spend your days browsing social media. You were born a creator. You are infinitely powerful. You can do and have whatever you want, and success is simply how we keep score. It doesn’t mean that successful people are better than others. It just means that they have created more for others. When you find the sweet spot of what makes you happy AND what makes a great business, then you have unlocked the key to fulfillment. Success is not good or bad, but it reflects how much you have served others. So, the next time one of your friends says successful people are bad, remember they have created and served more people than your friends ever will. And if you want to be more successful, you have to learn to create and serve more. Create more. Serve more. Yeah, but I don’t have resources to start a business, you might say. Easy, tiger.
