Happy New Year! This photo is the closest we got this year to dressing up and celebrating. 2020 was very surreal and far less festive, bringing the entire human race to its knees. However no human experience is easily described as good or bad and somehow I feel many of us have gained important perspective this year. It’s hard to write an optimistic post knowing so many families have lost loved ones or are having difficulty staying afloat. However I can only describe my perso...nal experience and ultimately I feel grateful for many reasons. First I’m thankful to still be alive having had Covid and thankful to still have a job. These are things that I do not take for granted anymore. But most of all, I’m grateful for my wife. Spending three months isolated together, around the clock, gave me a whole new perspective on what an amazing human being she is. Not only is she better than me in every way, but she is truly gifted when it comes to understanding the human condition which translates into an unbelievable level of kindness and generosity to others.
