In addition to the advanced neurological work we do in the clinic, it’ll be even better for your body to follow up with self care aka homework. Here are my favorite simple stretches for any low back, hip, pelvic pain. These stretch the glutes, muscles around the low back, psoas/hip flexors, quads, and deeper muscles and tissue in the hip joint capsule. Try doing these multiple times a day for an entire week and you’ll begin to feel the loosening of muscles, less pain, better mobility, and freedom of movement.

BAD AIR QUALITY AFFECTING HOW YOU FEEL? In the past couple of weeks, we’ve been breathing hazardous air. You might have noticed changes in how your body is functioning because of these toxins that we’re breathing. Many people have been complaining about these changes:... - Low energy and fatigue - Lack of motivation - More procrastination - Coughing, throat irritation - Sinus/nasal congestion - Swelling, joint pains - Shortness of breath - Headaches, brain fog There are more chemicals and heavy metals that we are breathing in. These toxins destroy the ability of the mitochondria in our cells to make energy/ATP. The less energy your cells make, the worse you feel and the harder it is to detox and drain. One of the main detox and drainage organs is the lungs and now it’s being filled with toxins. You see the ashes and black stuff landed on your cars? That’s what’s in your lungs. The weakest link in your body will break and symptoms will emerge. That’s why some people have joint pains, some have headaches, and some have congestion. It’s important to get properly treated so we can help you strengthen your weakest link so your body can adapt to whatever is happening in the outside environment. There are many things I’m doing to counteract the hazardous effects of the smoke. Here are a couple of things I do for nutrition: Eat lots of greens because plants provide oxygen for our bodies. Oxygen is needed for the mitochondria to make energy/ATP. This is the very first step of anything in the body (healing, recovery, rejuvenation, repair, and growth). Nobody can get enough greens so I like to supplement with raw greens throughout the day. I do at least 2 doses per day to provide the body with oxygen and minerals. Minerals get used up when the body is under stress, like when dealing with toxins. Minerals are like additives added in fuel for cars, it makes it burn better. Consider a plant-centered diet. Take care of the liver to support detox and drainage with beets, carrot, lemon. They also support the liver making healthy bile, which is necessary for cleaning and detoxifying the gut.
