I have one of, if not the lamest dental insurance policies which hardly covers anything, but thankful our family still has it and this office takes it. Dr. Yung has an excellent bedside manner and has such an upbeat demeanor, I know my policy is lame but he never makes you feel like you have inferior insurance. His schedule is packed and he runs late sometimes, understandable because em...ergencies do pop up at doctor's offices, but when it's your turn, he will take the time to answer your questions, treat you, and explain his treatment recommendations. He will also take into account costs, both long and short term, so you will be aware of making the decision what to do with your teeth. I like his approach that even if my insurance gets better or I win the lotto and can afford all dental work on my own account, I will still come to Dr. Yung. The front office staff are nice, my suggestion would be to explain a bit more clearly when patients ask about costs, and what insurance does and does not cover. It may seem elementary, but it makes a big difference when you are educated on what entails dental procedures, what your insurance will cover and what you will pay. If my insurance only covers silver fillings and non silver will be what the doc recommended, still explain it. This way, there are no second thoughts on the patient's part about charges and billing." While the practice usually requires two visits for a new patient consultation and standard cleaning, Dr. Yung was able to fit me in less than a half hour after my consultation for both a cleaning and to replace two fillings -- so I don't have to go back for 6 months. I was pleasantly surprised by the flexibility! Dr. Yung is friendly and very professional. He is great at discussing your dental health (with pictures) which provides you with an understanding of what treatment he recommends. They did a fine job on cleaning my teeth and replacing a couple fillings, I have had no issues."

Having to need a root canal, gum surgery and new crown...having a team all in one place was so convenient. They were able to share xrays and my circumstances easily between each dental expertise. Each staff member in their own field explain, in detail, the state of affairs, the proced...ures necessary and then execute with precision. The assistant staff are friendly and fun. Dr. Yung is a great first line of defense and errs on the side of being proactive/preventive instead of having to later react to conditions that have gotten too far out of hand."

Case 4: Tooth with Large Filling - Crown Completed - A few weeks later the crown was completed and cemented. Despite the former presence of deep decay and crack, tooth is asymptomatic. The patient was very happy.

Case 4: Tooth with Large Filling - Before (Photo 2) - Side view shows very prominent vertical crack as well as discolored enamel indicating decay / cavities. A crown is recommended to enhance structural integrity.

Case 4: Tooth with Large Filling - Before (Photo 1) - Large filling. Dark gray/black areas on perimeter of filling indicates cavities. Multiple crack lines spreading our from filling which indicates tooth is weak.

Case 1: Tooth #19 Cavity - After - Deep cavity was removed. Tooth colored composite filling placed. Photo shows dark blue marks to show correct occlusion. Our patient was very happy with outcome.

Case 3: Tooth #18 - After - Tooth colored composite final restoration after cavity and old filling removed. Patient was very pleased with outcome.
