Hello all! We are so excited to announce that our office at 54 Fenton St. is beginning to gradually re-open again! The Alameda County Dental Association has lifted restrictions for dental care. Our office will open on May 26, 2020 and we look forward to seeing you! We are fully committed in doing our part in minimizing the spread of COVID-19. We will continue to follow all infection control recommendations made by the American Dental Association (ADA), the U.S. Centers fo...r Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regarding personal protective equipment and sterilization of instruments, surfaces and work spaces to protect our patients and staff members. We are also taking extended measures with the following additional protocols: -A wellness screening will be performed upon entry that will consist of taking the patient’s temperature and answering a few health-related questions. -Anyone entering the office will be asked to wear a mask or face covering. -We have hand sanitizer that we will ask all patients to use upon entry. -Social distancing, whenever possible will be practiced; You are welcome to come into the waiting area as patient seating has been spaced 6 feet apart. If you prefer waiting in your car until we are ready to seat you, we will be happy to call you at that time. -We ask that only the patient come in for their appointment. If a parent would like to escort their child, then only one parent is preferred. -At the beginning and end of your appointment, you will be asked to rinse with an anti-viral rinse. -Equipment has been added to limit aerosols in the treatment rooms. -Appointments will be managed to less patients seen per day to allow for social distancing between patients. -Expedited checkout processes to minimize the number of people you need to interact with. If you had an appointment scheduled during our closure, we will be reaching out to you to get your appointment rescheduled. If you have a question about an upcoming appointment, please contact us. Your safety and good health is our primary concern. We value your trust and loyalty and look forward to welcoming you back!

Temporary Closure update: All of us here at Masterful Dentistry are hoping you and your families are holding up well, during these unpredictable times. We hoped the Shelter in Place order would lift on April 7th, however, it is now extended. Safety for our patients and staff is our main priority, so we will keep you posted when we know we will be able to open the doors again. We are all very ready to get back to work as soon as possible but until then, please stay safe and healthy everyone!

Due to the Mandatory Stay In Place, our office will be closed until April 7th, 2020. We will be keeping close track of the situation and advise you of any changes that may arise. Due to the guidelines of the Stay In Place, Dr. Chan will be available for emergencies only. If you are a patient and experiencing pain, please call the office at (925)455-1232 to get further instructions. During this very difficult time, we would like to wish you all good health and strength. We look forward to normalcy and seeing you once the restrictions have been lifted. Hang in there, everybody!
