This pandemic has been hard on us all, in many different ways. The loss of our social circles and support is especially challenging for new moms. I encourage all families to seek out the support they need during theses times. Therapists, doulas, midwifes, naturopaths, chiropractors... are all available to support you. There are still MANY virtual resources available to you. Childbirth classes, virtual doula packages, counseling, lactation, new parent support groups, and more. Please make sure that you are taking the time to get your needs met. We see you.

In all honesty, a home birth has never made more sense to me.

*birth video* I don't generally share what I do on my personal page, but this beautiful mama asked me to share far and wide. She said "I just want to empower as many moms as possible. This is my love letter to them." Thank you Paige Driscoll for capturing it so beautifully! I am a truly blessed midwife - Hope

My fierce mama friend had her little one in the hospital parking lot a couple of days ago. She is incredible! This is actually happening more often during COVID with parents trying to stay out of the hospital for as long as possible. My best advise right now; GET a MIDWIFE and stay at home if you’re a low risk pregnancy.

"Many birth workers are feeling anxious about what birthing parents are facingANDwe can only imagine the difficulty involved in trying to manage optimal health care during a worldwide pandemic. Add to that the huge demands that result in shortages of necessary supplies and here we are . . . Birthing in the Time of COVID." https://myseasonswithin.com//birthing-in-the-time-of-covid/

We need each other, now more than ever. Mama’s please make sure that you’re finding ‘alternative’ means of support. Lots of doulas are still offering services, classes, and new parent support groups- virtually.
