This week, our firm successfully vacated five separate convictions in Sacramento County for our client dating back to 1986. By eliminating his criminal record, he is no-longer deportable from the United States and is able to renew his green card and eventually apply to naturalize.

Two victories to speak of. Last Thursday the immigration judge granted our undocumented immigrant client’s cancellation of removal application. Today, the immigration judge granted our lawful permanent resident client’s cancellation of removal application despite a history of drug sales and abuse. ... Have a good weekend.

The fee to apply to become a U.S. citizen is increasing on October 2, 2020. The current fee is $640 + $85 for fingerprinting. The new fee will be $1,170 + $30 for fingerprinting. That is a $475 difference!
