Let’s hear it for Cecelia Costa! Cecelia received her final treatment of chemotherapy through her battle with endometrial cancer at Doctors Medical Center. Our team held a Code Sun celebratory walk and lined the hallways to cheer and clap as Cecelia headed home following her last round of chemo. Yay, Cecelia! We loved being able to celebrate with you

We'd like to congratulate Modesto Mayor Sue Zwahlen as she settles into her new role! Sue was a nurse at Doctors Medical Center for nearly 40 years. We are grateful for her service to our patients, hospital and community for so many years and wish her the absolute best as mayor!

Baby Julian is number to go home! Julian is the second baby in our New Year's Eve quadruplets to go home from our NICU at Doctors Medical Center He joined brother Samuel at home after being discharged with mom and dad earlier this week. We're halfway there! The other two babies continue to receive specialized care in our NICU until they're ready to go home, but they are growing every day! More updates to come

Cuteness alert! It's National Reading Month and Doctors Medical Center is once again celebrating Every baby born at our hospital in March will receive the book "Oh, Baby, the Places You'll Go!" by Dr. Seuss. Plus, the first 20 babies born this month will receive a special Dr. Seuss hat, knitted by one of our longtime volunteers, Eleanor Ford We hope these books start a library for these newborns and inspire a love of reading #BornAtDMC

Special thank you to Mary and her daughter Annie who donated brand new stuffed animals for our pediatric patients at Doctors Medical Center!
