As we near the end of what has been a tumultuous and challenging year, we’d like to extend our deepest Thanks and Gratitude to all of our Community. While so much of this year has been trying, there have been many instances of coming together and supporting each other, on personal levels, societally, and in the crazy world we call the skateboard industry, and it is very much appreciated. We couldn’t do it without you! If we can step up on our soapbox for a second: many smalle...r local businesses have had to close due to pandemic conditions (including Corporate Behemoths); please consider doing your holiday shopping from local folks whose names you know. The karmic rewards run much deeper than free shipping or whatever. Many of the excellent independent skateshops of the world have Black Friday sales, and many/most of them have online platforms, so you can have the convenience of at-home-in-your-sweats shopping with none of the guilt of feeding the MegaCorpoMonster. Deluxe family @oliver54 is part of a charity bike ride benefitting @bridgetoskate - a nonprofit that uses skateboarding to transform the lives of youth by creating dynamic new paths to self-confidence, personal empowerment, and responsibility for each other and their communities. 100% of the money raised from this ride will go to their volunteer initiative in Compton, CA and create more opportunities for minority youth through skateboarding.
