MEET THE WINNERS OF OUR TECH AMBASSADOR FOR ONE DAY COMPETITION In January the Tech Ambassador took a couple of days off to let our winners do his job for two jam-packed days. Meet Stefania from Italy and Garnett from Kenya, who took the front seat of Denmark's #TechPlomacy initiative. The two Tech Ambassadors had meetings with Tesla, IBM, Stanford University, Berkeley University, William and Flora Hewlett Foundation, Red Cross among others. Topics ranged from AI & facial re...cognition to cyber security, future of energy, driverless cars, regulation & privacy, quantum computing and how to safeguard human rights & vulnerable groups worldwide. Why do we do it? Not only because it’s a lot of fun (though it is!). But also because it’s important to engage the global youth on how we want the digital world to unfold. And because we want to give students a chance to experience modern day diplomacy from the inside. Diplomacy continues to be a crucial tool in the 21st Century - maybe more important than ever.
