I know it's been very quiet around here due to Covid but I have been keeping it moving. I just want to say thank you. To ALL of you who participated in the voting and contributed their opinions and insight during this project. I am so happy with the way it turned out and happy y'all get to see a different side to me other than hosting trivia. Although many of you know me on a personal level anyway and know I'm a complete nerd. ... I'm even more happy knowing that there is a piece of all of you in this project. Oliver hosts three locations a week at Mountain Mike's Pizza Monday Nights, Mary's Pizza Shack on Tuesday night's, and Mountain Mike's Pizza on Wednesday nights! When he’s not doing that, he’s being a student, beer drinker, and an overall good time. Not only does he work for DJ trivia, he also has two other jobs. You can catch him at Riley Street Art Supply, or out there promoting country radio at an array of events across Sonoma county. Oliver is a man of nature. He loves camping, being outdoors, and visiting national parks. Shelter in place doesn’t stop Oliver from enjoying the outdoors safely. Reading a book in his backyard, mowing the lawn, and drives out to the coast have kept him sane. Although enjoying the peace, Oliver is looking forward to bringing back the good times and spirit of community that DJ trivia offers. To comply with the social distancing standards set by the CDC, many locations in the nation are already limited to take-out only.... It goes without saying, this is an extremely challenging time for everybody, especially our families in the service industry. If you are able, we encourage you to order take-out to support the many wonderful establishments we serve. OUR OFFICIAL STATEMENT: Since we’ve received a few inquiries from players, here is our official statement about our strategy with regard to the coronavirus outbreak. Most establishments we serve are not in areas of current concern, and attendance at our trivia games is well below restrictions set by most authorities. So, for now, we’re going to keep playing.... While we certainly need to do our part to be responsible citizens from a public health standpoint, we also need to be sure that the need for cancellation would outweigh the fact that canceling trivia comes with a much larger price. It goes well beyond going out and having fun once or twice a week. A majority of establishments that we serve are locally owned establishments, and the financial impact would be devastating across the board if we don't use common sense. Servers, cooks, and bartenders would lose a lot of shifts, which could cause a great deal of financial pain. We don’t want to do that unless it is absolutely 100% necessary. We encourage all of our players and hosts to follow the basic, common-sense health practices that are currently being emphasized by health officials and the federal government: Wash your hands often, avoid touching your face, and if you’re feeling even a little bit sick, please stay at home. Anybody that feels uncomfortable should remain at home. You are responsible for your health; if you have questions regarding the coronavirus, please seek advice from the CDC. We realize that things can change quickly and we will do our best to publish updates. Ultimately, if there are changes that affect your area, we recommend everybody follow guidelines from the authorities. Thank you so much for your patience and understanding.

In an effort to de-stress my life, I've decided to add Buddhist meditation to improve my mental health. So of course I've gone all OCD about learning everything I can about Buddhism, including its' holy sites. Now, I'm not claiming I'm dealing with being a tribute in the Hunger Games level of stress, but it is there. Sometimes I feel kind of like that 80s song where "now I'm only falling apart".
