Enjoy a beautiful weekend at Pinnacles National Park. Don’t forget to dress in layers. During this time of year, chilly mornings can typically can turn into warm sunny days. Pinnacles National Park has been experiencing high visitation rates on weekends!! If you are planning a visit this weekend, prepare to come early (before 9am) or arrive in the afternoon (after 2pm). Parking at major trailheads is limited. Once parking lots fill, we may close the road past the campgroun...d until space is available again. There is no cell phone service at Pinnacles. If you are meeting friends make sure you have a plan in place. Try to arrive at the same time. Please help us Leave No Trace at Pinnacles this weekend by planning ahead for your trip, carrying all trash out with you, leave what you find behind, respect wildlife and other visitors. Day Use Hours- San Benito County East Side: Open 24 hours Offers: Visitors Center & Campground facilities West Side: 7:30am to 8pm The Pinnacles Campground remains open only to visitors traveling for essential reasons. Pinnacles National Park. In the coming months, female condors at Pinnacles National Park will begin laying single eggs in nest cavities. Both the male and female condor will take turns incubating the egg until it hatches then continue to share parenting duties until the nestling fledges in six months. The pair will continue to care for their fledgling for up to another year. This intensive parenting effort means condor pairs will only reproduce every two years.
